How long is BioMERS good for? The solution should be replaced weekly, when dirty or cloudy, or when the level(Volumein container) has reduced by more than 5%. This can also be monitored by a hydrometer (glass specific gravity instrument) as BioMERS has a relative density of 0.866 when copared with water to 1. The effective range is .860 to 890 SG.
